Our guest process is continually developed, and changes are made all the time so that it is more digital, more efficient, and much smoother. Our current process is easy, simple and quick to complete. There are 5 simple steps and guests can book within minutes.
1. Guest books apartment
Guest books apartment on booking platform or directly with us. As soon as they book, they will receive a confirmation welcome email as well as our T & C for them to read and sign off.
2. Identification and Terms & Conditions of stay
As soon as the guest books the apartment, they will receive a welcome email with a short form, they will have to attach their ID i.e. passport or driving licence. They will also sign our terms and conditions of stay which details in full all the house rules. We will check their documents to ensure they are in date and if any issues arise, we will contact the guest. Once they sign our terms, we will store it for our records and get ready to release the property for their stay.
3. Security deposit
We will collect a security deposit from every guest that books the apartment. The amount varies from property to property, but the minimum is £100. When guests check in to hotels, they are often asked for a credit card as a security measure, protecting the hotel in case something in the room gets damaged or destroyed. Similarly, to hotels, Airbnb allows owners to add a security deposit to the listing of their house, apartment.
4. Final checks
We will carry out final checks and ensure that guest has paid the deposit as well as check all their documentation and if everything is in order, we will then send out information regarding check in. We are very attention to detail and won’t leave any stone unturned.
5. Check in and 24 customer service
The guest will receive instructions and property entry details before check in. Once they check in, they will receive a welcome basket with complimentary drinks and a welcome pack with all the information they require i.e. Wi-Fi code, contact numbers, local restaurants and more. They will also receive 24-hour support from us if they need anything, or something goes wrong. We will respond straight away when we are alerted.
